America's Got Talent The Champions Betting Odds
I’m a little late to the game considering I’m writing this on September 12th, but better late than never, right? I’ve been swept up by football just like everyone else, but I’ve still found time to hand out my 2019 Emmy Awards predictions, and back in August, I took a shot at making picks for the VMAs.

Apologies in advance if somebody has started a similar thread, I can't seem to find one. Nor can I any odds for BGT with any bookies or on oddschecker. I’ve only lightly dabbled in the entertainment betting scene lately, but that’s for two very good reasons: the NFL has come roaring back to life, and there just haven’t been a lot of entertainment betting markets to get excited about.
That changes a bit in September, as the Emmys roll out the red carpet in just over a week. That’s undoubtedly the top draw for lovers of entertainment betting, but it’s far from the only thing you need to be on the lookout for.
I included a link to my 2019 Emmys picks above, but I still wanted to give this its own section. It’s the freaking Emmy Awards, after all.
Like most Hollywood award shows, this is usually a spot to back the favorites and limit those high-upside picks. I still took some shots in certain situations, of course, especially where the favorites are listed at -600 or something obnoxious.
Yeah, Game of Thrones (-900) will probably win best drama, but it honestly shouldn’t. With other viable options and no actual value in that bet, though, bettors shouldn’t hold back on taking shots elsewhere.
There’s also the case for Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Her work on Veep is masterful and has helped her nabbed Emmys in the past. Win or lose, her story is among the most powerful after she worked her way back from cancer.
Whether you bet on the 2019 Emmy Awards or not, it promises to be a fun show that celebrates some of the best entertainment television has to offer.
As for actual bets, you can consider some 2019 Emmys sleepers, and if you’re looking for the top site to place bets at, MyBookie.ag may take the cake. Several entertainment betting sites are offering Emmy wagers and competitive odds, but My Bookie is arguably leading the way this year.
No matter what you do, time is running out to place wagers and get ready in general. The Emmys arrive on September 22nd.
Who Will Win Dancing With the Stars Season 28?
While Emmys betting owns September, Dancing With the Stars ranks as a close second. The beloved ABC dancing competition program is back for season 28, ready to crown a new duo as champions.
Sky Brown and JT Church teamed up to win season 27, while former NFL player Ray Lewis enters the new season as the tentative favorite.
This has already been a controversial season, with Sean Spicer added to the field and some fan favorite dance instructors being cut from the roster.

Despite some early drama, this feels like a wide-open race. I pegged Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke as my favorite to win in my Dancing With the Stars picks, but there is certainly room for some elite betting value here.
It’s also hard to ignore how well professional athletes have done in this competition. Suffice it to say, Ray Lewis is a viable favorite to root for (and bet on). You can refer to my Dancing With the Stars predictions at the aforementioned link, but this could end up being a very fluid process.
The betting options are pretty endless here. My Bookie is another fantastic option, while SportsBetting.ag and BetOnline also offer great pricing.
The name is Bond. Jane Bond.
Yes, the James Bond franchise is still ruled by Daniel Craig, but Bond 25 could be the legendary secret agent’s swan song with the series, and soon the Hollywood studios will be looking for a new replacement.
I’ve looked at this entertainment prop bet numerous times, with my latest crack at it acknowledging the Richard Madden James Bond rumors. He remains a viable option — I assume — but the top entertainment betting sites have since pulled their James Bond odds.
This remains a very fun wager to simply bet on who will be the next James Bond. Bovada is taking it one step further and getting a bit more specific, though, with their wager about James Bond changing sexes.
Here’s the exact wager at Bovada.
Will James Bond’s Replacement Be Female in the 26th Installment?
I honestly could go for more than just this. In addition to this wager, I’d love a James Bond prop bet that gathered up some of the biggest female names in Hollywood to allow bettors to specifically wager on which woman could take over the role.
With that in mind, here are a few of my favorites I believe could do a fantastic job.
- Angelina Jolie
- Natalie Portman
- Charlize Theron
- Keira Knightley
- Emily Blunt
- Marion Cotillard
- Gal Gadot
- Paula Patton
- Olivia Wilde
- Alicia Vikander
- Zoe Saldana

The list goes on. This isn’t just a list of beautiful women, either. Feel free to note a slew of candidates I’ve left off of my preferred list (although I’m sure there are some great ones I’m forgetting), as my point here is to offer strong actresses with the demeanor to take on such a layered role.
I could run through the list one by one, but each actress above has either displayed the confidence and swagger needed to crush this role and/or has experience in action-packed roles.
The idea was already floating around — as it should have been — but Bond alum Pierce Brosnan has now openly backed the notion.
Will the next James Bond for sure be a woman? No, but it totally should be. It’s not about “the role being written for a man” or adding to any ongoing narratives. It’s about switching things up and giving an amazing actress an elite platform.
That isn’t to say some of the favorites to be the next James Bond aren’t as deserving. I mean, if a woman isn’t the next James Bond, would anyone be mad to see Tom Hardy take on the suit and tie? I sure wouldn’t be.
These Mars prop bets have been around for a while — so long, in fact, that most novelty betting sites have removed them. Not Bovada, which still offers two wagers dealing with humans traveling to Mars.
Here they are, in all of their space-jetting glory.
First Organization to Charter Humans to Mars
Will a Human Set Foot on Mars by 2025?
What am I, a rocket scientist? Do I work for NASA? I don’t pretend to know anything about human beings finding their way to the red planet. I’m just waving my arms in the air and telling you it’s a wager available at Bovada. And if you know something about space travel, perhaps you can make some mad coin from it.
In case you don’t, like me, you can touch on this Mars betting post from Adam Haynes from this past summer.
Superhero Movie Prop Bets
Other wagers that continue to hang out at the best entertainment betting sites include which actors will take on iconic superhero movie roles. My Bookie has kept the two big ones up for ages, while others have come and gone.
There was much debate over who would play the next Batman, but that was answered not too long ago when Robert Pattinson took over the black cape. The same was the case for the Joker, but once Joaquin Phoenix was named the star, those props disappeared as well.
Two that still exist deal with a rumored Green Lantern movie and the heated debate over whether or not Henry Cavill will stay on as Superman.
I won’t bore you with the full odds for who will be the next Superman or Green Lantern, but you can tackle both of these entertainment prop bets over at MyBookie. For what it’s worth, Tom Cruise (+130) is the early favorite to play the next Green Lantern.
Michael B. Jordan (+150) is also an option to be the next Superman, but for some reason, TV actor Tyler Hoechlin (+125) is in the lead. I’d much rather bet on Jordan, although I don’t know if I believe Cavill is actually going to be done with the role anytime soon.
I always like to preview and predict these big TV show competitions, but this is actually the first sighting of America’s Got Talent odds. That’s because the AGT live finale is coming up soon, and we finally have an idea as to who the top favorite and sneaky sleepers could be.
Apparently, fans believe they already know who will win America’s Got Talent this season, but SportsBetting.ag is offering odds for ten contestants.
While he isn’t priced like the obvious favorite, it’s going to be awfully difficult to stop Kodi Lee from winning. The blind and autistic performer has impressed from his audition on and is simply truly talented even beyond his heartwarming tale.
Tell me you’re not moved by this kid and also highly impressed.
Consider my feels all of the hit.
As amazing as Lee is, he does have some competition. If you’re looking for a borderline equal threat in terms of narrative and raw talent, Tyler Butler-Figueroa is just 11 years old, a cancer survivor, and one heck of a violinist.
He knocked it out of the park by performing Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” in his audition.
If you want a pivot off of the top two America’s Got Talent favorites, though, you’ll want to look at powerful vocalist Benicio Bryant or unique comedian Ryan Niemiller. They offer competitive odds and have a real shot at pulling off the upset.
There are some other groups here, but I’m not seeing anything that blows me away. Instead, if you go against the top contenders, I don’t see why you can’t roll with 10-year-old singer Emanne Beasha.
She might not have the narrative of some of the other contenders, and her talent won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s crazy impressive, and you can’t beat that +1400 price.
2020 Razzies – Worst Picture
Lastly, I’ll leave you with the worst of the worst — the worst movie at the 2020 Razzie Awards. It’ll be a second until we learn of the actual winner, but boy, are there several deserving contenders.
Check out the odds for worst movie before you place a bet.
Oof, this is one long list of subpar flicks. Most of these honestly aren’t that bad, but there are a few Razzies sleepers to target on this list. There are also some movies that stand out as obvious threats.
I remember the weekend I saw Serenity in the theaters. There was nothing else playing, and I made the rash decision to give it a go. It was truly abysmal.
Replicas could give it a serious run for its money, of course, while The Professor is a movie that nobody needed, and the Hellboy remake also missed the mark.
If you need a pick, Serenity is a very deserving favorite. My apologies to Matthew McConaughey, who honestly has turned his career around and happens to be one of my favorite actors. This movie also had a pretty interesting premise, but it went from intelligent to hilarious rather swiftly.
That’s not good.

As bad as Serenity was and as much as I do see it as the top bet here, bettors also need to lend consideration to After, which garnered a sweet 17% rating at RottenTomatoes.com. Maybe it isn’t big enough for everyone to realize how awful it was, though.

The +3300 odds make it worth a roll of the dice, but perhaps more popular movies like Men in Black: International (+2000) or X-Men: Dark Phoenix (+1200) could be worth a try.

As you can see, there’s a lot to bet on in the entertainment industry in September. With more movies coming out over the next couple of months and big TV shows returning to the small screen, even more novelty prop bets should emerge in the near future.
America's Got Talent The Champions Betting Odds 2019
For now, bettors have plenty to chew on. The Emmys obviously take the cake, but placing bets on Dancing With the Stars, America’s Got Talent, and some of these other secondary markets could be well worth your time.
No matter what you decide to bet on, hopefully this look at the month of September serves you well. For all other entertainment betting needs, be sure to visit our top entertainment betting sites page.
